Throughout the first era, the games featured a third-person , fixed cinematic camera with the exception of Betrayal , which is the only installment to feature a 2D side-scrolling view. Throughout the Greek era, Kratos’ main weapon is a pair of double-chained blades that appear in three iterations: the Blades of Chaos, the Blades of Athena or Athena’s Blades , and the Blades of Exile.
