Requirement for Employment Permit Application

  1. Fully completed residence permit Application Form (IF5)
  2. Temporary Employment Permit (TEP) Application Form
  3. Application letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration, requesting for permit
  4. Two passport size photos
  5. Curriculum Vitae
  6. Contract of employment
  7. Copies of academic and professional certificates
  8. Passport bio-data page
  9. Chest X-ray certificate
  10. Advert in a local newspaper
  11. Curriculum Vitae for two shortlisted candidates including their contact details
  12. Police clearance from country of residence (not older than 6 months)
  13. Curriculum Vitae  of person identified to do understudy
  14. Professionals to be cleared by relevant authorities e.g Engineers to be cleared by Engineering Council of Zimbabwe.
  15. Private Voluntary Organization Certificate from social welfare for applicants under Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
  16. Support letter from line Ministry for Government supported projects or where companies were granted National Project Status
  17. Support letter from Relevant Regulatory Authority/Ministry
  18. Company profile
  19. Certificate of Incorporation
  20. Memorandum and Articles of Association
  21. CR6 (registered office address)
  22. CR14 (list of directors)
  23. Valid Zimbabwe Investment Authority (ZIA) Licence
  24. Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) Tax clearance certificate
  25. Site map and directions from the nearest town
  26. Mining companies to submit Environmental Impact Assessment certificates from Environmental Management Agency (EMA) and claim certificates from Ministry of Mines
  27. Current list of all expatriates and local employees (include National Social Security (NSSA) numbers, ID numbers and contact numbers)
